Diversity and inclusiveness workshop 1: Examining how dominant white culture manifests in citizen/community science

During 2021, ECSA will host a series of workshops looking at different aspects of diversity and inclusiveness in citizen science. This first workshop will be led by the Natural History Museum in London and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. It aims to support citizen science practitioners to review their projects and programmes to see where they are perpetuating ‘white supremacy culture’, name instances of oppression, and work towards antidotes. Join our upcoming workshop to learn, share and discuss this important topic!
