In particular, Joan Masó is the chair of the OGC API tiles, OGC API maps, GeoTIFF and Citizen Science. Andreas Matheus, Kaori Otsu and Joan will also take this opportunity to present one of the developments of Cos4Cloud: STAplus, an extended data model for the SensorThings API to standardise citizen science data and make it accessible, interoperable and reusable. Specifically, they will present it at the Citizen Science, Sensor Things and the Closing Plenary sessions. The aim is to request approval to accept the STAplus Best Practice as an official OGC document.
In addition, Joan Masó participates as chair in the interoperability day in an event organised by ILAF. This session will be held in Spanish and Portuguese.
The event will be held in Madrid, Spain. During the event, several speakers will show why standards matter and share how interoperable technologies like scalable cloud, AI/ML, and more are the future of geospatial.
OGC designs, creates, tests, and supports the use of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data standards and technologies.
