Biomarató Marina Virtual (Virtual Marine Biomarathon)

#BiomaratoMarina

Play with us to identify marine species

What is the Virtual Marine Biomarathon?

Since 2018, the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) and the SME Anel·lides organize the ‘Biomarató Marina’ within the City Nature Challenge (CNC) international competition. Due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) the 2020 Marine Biomarathon will be online and you will be able to get a taste of what the Marine Biomarathon in 2021 will be like.

How will we do it?

The Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC), Anèl·lides Marine Environmental Services and the Beach Center of Barcelona City Council are organizing several sessions where you will learn how to identify marine species and how to use a Citizen Science App to upload your photos. The sessions are open to families, snorkelling enthusiasts, freedivers, nature lovers and students.

What days will the sessions be?

Session 1: Introduction to the Natusfera Citizen Science App

Don’t know how the Natusfera Citizen Science App works? We will show you in an online session, all you have to do is install the App and feel like learning.
